Beginning of the End Animation

For this project, I had to create an animated music video focused on a new class project entitled "The Beginning of the End".
The Cat Piano (with Italian Subtitles)
For research, I looked for inspirations on the College's YouTube channel in it's BAF '09 section.

Among these videos are my favourites "The Cat Piano" and the music video "Hey" by "Eatliz".

Pictures from dark comic book films

Another scan for a character development related to my vulture work. This is when I decided to use leather for my vulture.

Concept designs for vulture characters

Here are scans for design ideas for my stereotypically evil vulture.

There is a big difference to how they went from early design to a striking final look.

I looked at pictures, did a lot of research, got some ideas and that's when it turned into something unusual.

Giraffe Animation

These are scans of my designs for my Giraffe Animation.

Website concept (continued)

Website concept

These are scans of the Iron Man website I have been developing.

When I started design the concept, it evolved throughout the time because I didn't know how to get music onto website as planned and I eventually used a different picture for each background.

Website Developing

For five weeks now, I've been developing a website for film advertising.

The film I chose was Iron Man.

I have token pictures of different pieces of metals and have got pictures from the Internet.

I am might have a soundtrack player on it, playing the film's score.

The screen grabs that are on this blog went through quite interesting editing e.g. colour balance, brightness and contrast, texting, boarding, etc.

While I was playing around with the editing, I changed the look to make it more attractive.

Festival Boreal

This screen grab is for "Festival Boreal"

I am unaware of the Target Audience because it is in French.

The one weakness I'll mention is the text not being understandable.

Chattanooga Zoo

This screen grab is for Chattanooga Zoo.

The target audience is for those who like to go to the zoo. Obviously!

The strengths of this website are:
  • The nice appearance.
  • The picture in the template changes.
  • The clear font.
  • And the creative logo.

GoSiteWave

This screen grab is for the website "GoSiteWave".

The target audience is for those involved with online businesses.

The strengths are:
  • The template stays the same.
  • The creative logo.
  • And the good layout.

Need Supply Co.

This is another screen grab of a website. This one is called "Need Supply Co.".

The target audience is those who like shopping.

The strengths of this website are:
  • The good layout.
  • The clear font.
  • The good navigation
  • And the strong theme.

Hello

This is a screen grab of the website "Hello".

The target audience is those who want to "meet interesting people at FOWA London".

The strengths of this website are:
  • The creative and colourful logo.
  • And the clear font.
The weakness is the fact it doesn't keep interest to me.

Toy

This is a screengrab of the Website "Toy"

You have trouble telling what the target audience is.

The weaknesses of this website are the facts that it doesn't appeal a lot and it doesn't give a lot of information.

It doesn't have any pictures.

I am completely unaware of what this website is about.

Vlad from Horton hears a Who!

Here is Vlad, the vulture whose style I liked from Horton hears a Who!.
Prior to me learning about animation at college I would like to comment that the animation is Computer-Generated. The animation works well with the character.

Another vulture image

This is another image for my Stereotypically evil character.
Note: This vulture research was for me to being start updating my blog.

Research for a stereotypically evil character

I chose a vulture because it is a predator with wings that are big, black and powerful.
I decided to make a vulture as my evil character because it was the first thing to come up on my mind.
I saw the film "Horton hears a Who!" which included a sinister vulture named Vlad in it and I liked his style.
